Open Pages: The Future of Personal Websites Is Dynamic, Not Static

Why we'll soon track and share every aspect of our lives through customized data dashboards

I've been thinking about how some startups have those transparent dashboards showing their revenue and growth metrics. It struck me - why don't we have the same thing for our personal lives?

What I'm calling "Open Pages"

These would be customized dashboards that visualize data about anything you're passionate about. Unlike generic social media profiles, these pages would display real-time stats and progress on specific activities you care about.

For example:

  • A surfer tracking wave conditions, session frequency, and locations

  • A tennis player visualizing match results, improvement over time, and practice hours

  • Someone on a sobriety journey displaying their streak and milestones

Why this matters now

I recently saw someone who created a surfing stats page with no previous coding experience using AI tools like Cursor. This represents a key shift - you no longer need technical skills to build something that previously required a developer.

The static personal website is dying. People want dynamic, data-driven pages that actually show who they are through what they do, not just tell.

The business opportunity

Website builders advertise everywhere because they're profitable. An "Open Pages" platform could follow similar pricing:

  • Free tier for basic tracking

  • Premium features for specialized modules (fitness integrations, custom visualizations)

  • Enterprise options for creators who want to monetize their audience

Implementation options

I see two approaches:

  1. Build your own using AI coding assistants like Cursor

  2. Wait for the inevitable platform that will make this accessible to everyone

The second option will likely emerge soon. The perfect name - OpenPages.me - is even available at the time of writing.

Why people will pay for this

These pages serve both practical and psychological needs:

  • Accountability through public tracking

  • Social motivation (like Strava, but for anything)

  • Self-expression through data

  • Community building around shared interests

Standard landing pages and "link in bio" tools feel generic and outdated. People are ready for something that reflects their actual lives and interests.

What are we doing next?

We are creating an AI Agent that would work as a Marketing Analyst, it will collect data from Meta Ads, Google Analytics and Shopify and answer all your questions in depth, generate reports and give insights to improve your performance.

We are going live with our beta in June 1st week and currently we are building a waitlist. Would you like to join the list to stay updated with product development and also help me built a fantastic products?

1565 people have already joined the waitlist.

If you are someone whose works depends extensively on Facebook/Instagram Ads, consider joining the waitlist.
